Parmigiano-Reggiano is a cheese that ages for a long time and dates back to the Middle Ages. It was invented by the benedectine monks during the XII century between Parma and Reggio Emilia, from which derives its name.
During the tour, you can see the whole production of the cheese and the various rooms, among which the so-called “bank”, the store where all the Parmigiano wheels rest. There could be also thousands of them, that’s why it’s called “bank”
At the end of the tour, there will be a tasting.
